No Hipihi tonight?

This afternoon I tried desperately to enter into the vitual world of Second Life's Chinese competitor Hipihi.

The only concrete result I could obtain is this screen.

Hipihi portal

When I wanted to use this link that I found on a SL blog
http://www.hipihi.com/application/application_en.jsp
nothing happened, my page loaded and loaded during a never-ceasing time.

I also tried this one
http://www.hipihi.com/aboutus.html

but the same result, that is...nothing:(

The same with
http://www.hipihi.com/userreg.jsp

Just for the fun I entered my name and my SL password on the Chinese screen, it didn't appreciate my attempt!

At last I succeeded loading some nice songs from Suzanne Vega:-D

...so that my afternoon were not completely wasted.

I wonder if Suzanne has an SL avatar with a Chinese appearance.

Competition in bugs

Well, well, well, bugs are running, flying and creeping everywhere, in IMVU they can even take the appearance of broken pop-up windows...

And when I come back here is what I look like...

I want to give my contribution to all the programmers leaving on Earth with these instructions that will surely help them avoid such mistakes.

Don't say thank you, it's with great pleasure.

If debugging is the art of removing bugs, then programming must be the art of inserting them.

Second Life competitor

You can try to get some clothes at IMVU shop, maybe you can wear them in Second Life...

Oh! by the way, the money here is the credit (how original!) and a credit is worth 0.001$ if I am not wrong, let's see : 10,000 credits are $10.00, so... (phew!)

Business is a good game - lots of competition and a minimum of rules. You keep score with money.
