Another try...

I decided to persevere...

The light is coming inch by inch.

I should have named my avatar Snail.

Now here is what I managed to get from Hipihi...

Possess Intel

And now to give evidence that I could take snapshots from Hipihi, here are some of my in-world picks.

Flame in the night

Intel and the Moon

LETNI towards East (sunrise...?)

Is this what we could call making strides...?

Work in progress.

I am still invisible, but not totally blind, maybe I will find a good eye specialist.

I give up...

Another try with Hipihi...

by the invisible Sofian...

Good start
Oups! male or female, you have to choose!

Well done!

And congratulations!

Let's go!

Let's jump into the water!

Be patient...

It's coming...

Blackout!

Where is the switch?

Some objects...

...are appearing...

the Mini Map...

...works, at least;)

but the North is strange in China...

Many, many...

...possibilities

Something...

...is blocking me...

Second log...

...into the water...

Possession

But where is the vendor?

Just in case...

...I add it to my Favorite Places

I am even able...

...to turn around the place...

And what do I see?

Mountains far away!

In front of me, the South-West, good direction (I live in SW of FR...)

Behind me, the East-East, I told you that the North was strange in China.

I can teleport...

...by using the Mini Map

After some flea leaps...

...balloons in the sky!

I dare trying...

...The Big TP

And I find myself...

...swimming in dark water:(

And final crash...

...again with the helicopter:(

Basic insight into Hipihi

Tonight I didn't yet receive my sesame, but I managed when I was at work to print and save with my professional computer some documentation about Hipihi.

3D Internet...

As Yahoo! was hidden by Google, I assume Second Life will be buried by Hipihi, at least the message is clear.

Chinese are funny guys.

The target seems clear...

...communicate...

...with friends:)

And...

...the road is well designed

500,000 residents in March 2008.

Another world of ad?

I thought Second Life was the pioneer, I was wrong.

No sex so far:(

When you have your registration code (I am still waiting for mine) you can try to enter an unfamiliar world.

Let's go!

I hope you have your Chinese translator with you.

You open the door and...

Where am I...?

An ocean of uncertainty is opening its waves to welcome you.

After the first administrative requirements...

Custom, or customs?

...here you are with yourself.

What will be your

1st profile?

I guess weird, maybe freaky...

Will your appearance be

Male or Female?

I hope we can change in case of mistake!

If you want to socialize you have some

gestures

The one I will learn by heart is Embarrass.

Perhaps the second on the list will be Cry.

If you do not see anybody (China is a big country) you can always

build scenes

and wait for somebody to have a look at your showpiece.

If you are really persistent you will even be

destroying terrain

as you are used to do in Second Life.

And when at last your place becomes crowded you will

invite friends

but don't forget your translator!

With your love you will be in the mood for visiting the world and you will

search the map

and even...

...use the Mini-Map.

Where is the map?

Don't forget your goggles too.

Finally after many peregrinations you get

lost in translation....

on Tianammen Square.

It was a good walk-through.

Goodbye, see you soon folks!

When I get my registration code:(

Hipihi tonight?

I am tenacious and this evening I try again the link http://www.hipihi.com/application/application_en.jsp provided by Daneel in his blog Daneel Ariantho's 2nd life

After few minutes I get the following screen:

19:30

More or less the same screen as the one I got yesterday, with the notable remark that it is faster...

19:35

5 minutes later, there is a big step forward, similar to the first step of Man on the Moon, I can see some familiar boxes that I can fill in.

The gender by default is Male, why on Earth males are always first on the list and privilegiated over women?

19:38

Date of Birth...only four possibilities...and a dash in case you are in trouble...

19:39

So I choose the biggest figure: 4, don't ask why.

19:41

Ahh! Another box is appearing, actually the first on the left was for the month, then here is the day...

And some green bars are encouraging me...

19:42

Blimey! The green bars have disappeared, this system is playing with mine (my nervous system)

19:43

Again the green bars, I decide to enter my SL birthdate, I wonder if I will have to enter the year...

19:45

Yes, I have to enter the year, I choose 2007, of course.

And now I have to key the country in.

The list goes up to Belgium.

Belgium seems to be the last country in the world for Chinese (just joking;)

19:46

As I am becoming impatient I enter Belgium, for Chinese I will be Belgian, after all I speak French (but it is not said if it is Walloon or Flemish side...)

No more pick for you now, I keep on having an eye on my Hipihi page, perhaps at midnight Zanzibar will be reached and I will be able to register at last.

You will be informed.
