Second life fairytale

Is it possible to live a fairytale in our second life? Oh yes I think it is, because here our imagination is unlimited and all of our dreams can become true, even the crazy dreams that we had when we were little girls. My favourite fairytale as a child was Cinderella and because of a strange virtual coincidence this is the fairytale that I lived in my second life.

So this is the story.

Once upon a time, when I was still a newbie I have been invited to a masquerade ball. For one week I was looking every in-world store to find the best outfit, the best hair and it was really excited for me when I arrived. Being a European girl I had to stay awake late in order to attend the ball and actually it was dawn at that time. Already dawn is a magical hour so the virtual fairytale begins.

When our virtual Cinderella entered the ballroom at the palace, a hush fell. Everyone stopped in mid-sentence to admire her elegance, her beauty and grace. "Who can that be? » people asked each other “She must be for sure a foreign princess”. When the prince set eyes on her, he was struck by her beauty. Walking over to her, he bowed deeply and asked her to dance.

What happened next?

Here in second life we write our own stories and of course the end can be different than “they lived happily ever after”, but what is more important? To live a fairytale or not to live it at all.

And I finish my story with the quote of Alfred Lord Tennyson
'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Marie Curie said:"I am among those who think that science has great beauty. A scientist in his laboratory is not only a technician: he is also a child placed before natural phenomena which impress him like a fairy tale."
May I paraphrase Marie Curie and say about you: "You are among those who think that painting has great beauty. A painter in her atelier is not only a technician: she is also a child placed before natural phenomena which impress her like a fairy tale"?
Your fairy tale was very convincing, I am looking forward to meeting my princess charming!
No, actually I already found her, but shh, it's a secret...
