Hipihi tonight?
I am tenacious and this evening I try again the link http://www.hipihi.com/application/application_en.jsp provided by Daneel in his blog Daneel Ariantho's 2nd life
After few minutes I get the following screen:
More or less the same screen as the one I got yesterday, with the notable remark that it is faster...
5 minutes later, there is a big step forward, similar to the first step of Man on the Moon, I can see some familiar boxes that I can fill in.
The gender by default is Male, why on Earth males are always first on the list and privilegiated over women?
Date of Birth...only four possibilities...and a dash in case you are in trouble...
So I choose the biggest figure: 4, don't ask why.
Ahh! Another box is appearing, actually the first on the left was for the month, then here is the day...
And some green bars are encouraging me...
Blimey! The green bars have disappeared, this system is playing with mine (my nervous system)
Again the green bars, I decide to enter my SL birthdate, I wonder if I will have to enter the year...
Yes, I have to enter the year, I choose 2007, of course.
And now I have to key the country in.
The list goes up to Belgium.
Belgium seems to be the last country in the world for Chinese (just joking;)
As I am becoming impatient I enter Belgium, for Chinese I will be Belgian, after all I speak French (but it is not said if it is Walloon or Flemish side...)
No more pick for you now, I keep on having an eye on my Hipihi page, perhaps at midnight Zanzibar will be reached and I will be able to register at last.
You will be informed.
You must first have a lot of patience to learn to have patience.

A stroll with Arm
Yesterday night my friend Arm invited me to visit Isla Montevideo
meeting ArmMisty atmosphere in this exiguous club, not the haze, the weak light bulb.
Posters on the wallNot really the best place to watch TV.
But we are not here to watch TV.
The bar is closedI am not here to drink.
But I am drinking a bottle of mineral water.
In RL.
We fly to another part of the island.
Maps exhibitionThe real world seems to be miniaturized here.
Real world on vertical walls.
And I thought that the Earth was a globe...
Two big eyes?Who is watching what, what is watching who?
We are observed.
Big Brother?
A female HobbitTolkien is not far away.
I am still waiting for my ring, my Lord.
Arm looking at my placeYes, Toulouse is this way.
Between Morocco and Finland.
I am thoughtfulObviously Arm has good glasses.
A jail?Bars are separating maps.
Maps are held in cells.
Wooden benchNot really comfy.
But do we really care?
The stars are twinkling over our heads.
After the maps, another exhibition with less pleasant pictures.
But this is reality, we don't have to forget it.

Soaring girlsThat's really trippy guys.
Looking at the starsAiry.
Heady.
With the music of course, but you can't hear from where you are now;)
A little bit farther, flying with our arms, we arrive during last World War II.
Landing fieldWe would like to use these machines, but is it funnier than flying with our keyboard?
Keyboard is more powerful than rusted planes.
A stroke of the finger on the Up-page key, and here we are.
Furries on their lotLying down on a couch whose owners are temporarily renouncing to use.
They keep rooted aside, saying nothing, but I am sure they can hear us.
And suddenly they disappear, letting Arm and me alone.
Diplomacy?
Furries' homeWe can visit their dwelling-place.
Well, better be a fly if you want to sit on their chair.
I am becoming tired...It is late, eyelids are heavier.
Time to go to bed.
My real bed, I don't know if I will be able to stay on it, it is horizontal.

No Hipihi tonight?
This afternoon I tried desperately to enter into the vitual world of Second Life's Chinese competitor Hipihi.
The only concrete result I could obtain is this screen.
When I wanted to use this link that I found on a SL blog
http://www.hipihi.com/application/application_en.jsp nothing happened, my page loaded and loaded during a never-ceasing time.
I also tried this one
http://www.hipihi.com/aboutus.html
but the same result, that is...nothing:(
The same with
http://www.hipihi.com/userreg.jsp
Just for the fun I entered my name and my SL password on the Chinese screen, it didn't appreciate my attempt!
At last I succeeded loading some nice songs from Suzanne Vega:-D
...so that my afternoon were not completely wasted.
I wonder if Suzanne has an SL avatar with a Chinese appearance.
A witty saying proves nothing.

Mana, Jeanine and their new neighbors
Last night I was invited by Jeanine and Mana to attend their beach party.
Hello,
Hope this note finds everyone doing well. There have been some changes around the beach at Big Sur. Kylie has moved on to her own island...you go girl. I relocated to the end of the beach, Mana has acquired more land and we have two new residents. Wow what a week. To celebrate all the changes you are invited to a beach party. Information and landmarks are listed below. But if you need a ride, just im one of us. Hope to see you all. Hugs, Love and Kisses...

She tries to kick it off the place.

She makes an attempt with her hand.
As far as I know Mikayla didn't respond.
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because they are generally the same people.
